“Every word of God proves true, he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” Proverbs 30:5

Every time, EVERY time we take God at His word–every time we stand on His word – every time we believe Him and not just believe in Him – every time — He keeps His word. Every word of God proves true.

If there are times it appears otherwise, it is either because we misunderstand or have misinterpreted His word OR He has just not brought it to fulfillment yet.

Too often we take God’s word and apply it to situations or circumstances because we want to believe it – but it was never intended to be applied as WE intend.

He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. The solid truth of God’s word is an impenetrable shield behind which we may stand.

To take God at His word, we must know His word. Did you spend time in the word today?
