Today we conclude the topic of applying modesty from the first portion of a brochure called: Modesty Check List written by Carolyn Mahaney and others.
Before you leave the house, do a modesty check. (What are some things you should look for as you stand in front of your mirror?)

Bravo !!! Praise G-d that there are women at Keswick brave enough to post this very G-dly “recipe” for modest
dress. I loved it. Is it conservative? Yes, it is. Is our L-rd conservative? Yes, He is in a sense. He is a very
conservative, protective Abba over His girls…..and He does not want us flaunting anything which would detract
from our “G-d’s-girl image”.
I once heard a very dynamic young woman speak at a pro-life convention. Her name, unfortunately, escapes me. However, she was the product of conception by rape and the living result of an unsuccessful abortion. Her arm is
missing and she walks with a noticeable limp. She is still one of the most beautiful women I’ve met. Her speaking
topic – and she speaks all around the country; also has written a book – is about modesty. She isn’t shy about it.
She “chides’ today’s women for being too immodest and flirtatious. She does, actually, blend modesty with the rape
her mother experienced and the immorality in which she became involved. She gives a powerful testimony.
Thanks, once again, for this continued series on modesty. Even for women who decide not to subscribe wholeheartedly
to this message, it will plant a G-d-given seed in the minds of all who read even some of it. Bless you for your faithfulness even when popularity may not reign!!!
